The Best Home Remedies For Corns And Calluses
The most common cause of corns on the feet is walking or running in ill-fitting shoes. Even standing for very long periods of time wearing tight shoes or high heels can cause corns. Set it aside and put one bag of green or black tea in it, leaving it in for 5 minutes. Then leave to tea to cool off at room temperature. Soak a cotton ball in the liquid and apply it on the callus, leaving it on for 15-30 minutes. Repeat the treatment 2-3 a day until it’s completely healed.
Vitamin E stimulates the healing process and prevents the appearance of scars. Take one vitamin E capsule and pour the oil over the callus. Leave it on for at least 30 minutes and repeat the treatment every day.
Thanks to the ingredients it contains, like baking soda and mint, toothpaste can help you treat your painful calluses. Apply some toothpaste on the affected area and leave it on for about 2 hours. Rinse with some warm water and apply moisturizer. Repeat the treatment once or twice a day until they heal completely.

Chamomile tea has certain properties which will reduce the pain and swelling caused by the calluses. Prepare a batch of really strong chamomile tea and leave it to cool off at room temperature. Take a cotton ball. Soak it in the tea and apply it on the affected area. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and repeat the treatment for a few times a day.
Apple cider vinegar
ACV has strong anti-bacterial properties which means that it can prevent an infection once the blisters pop. We have to mention that applying ACV can cause some redness and a stinging sensation so if you decide to use this remedy apply a very small amount on the affected area only.
Curcumin is considered as a natural antiseptic so it’s no surprise that it can help ease the pain, reduce the inflammation and prevent an infection. Mix one teaspoon of curcumin with some water to get a thick paste. Apply the paste on the callus and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Repeat the treatment twice a day until it’s completely healed.
IMPORTant: You should never pop the blisters from a corn or a callus, it will only make matters worse. If it’s causing you a lot of pain you could try the following:
● You should wash your hands thoroughly
● Take a clean and unused needle
● Clean it with alcohol
● Pierce the blister from the side and let the liquid drain out
● Wash the area with soap and water
● Apply some antiseptic and cover it with a bandage
● Change the bandage every day
Never remove the top part of the blister unless it’s extremely dirty or pus is coming out of it.
