This herb is also effective against headaches and is a source of vitamin A, C, magnesium, potassium and calcium, antioxidant, antiseptic and antimicrobial properties.

Ginger is well known to be an effective way to prevent and treat cold and flu remedy. Ginger root stimulates the immune system by promoting sweating which helps the body fight infections and contains anti-inflammatory properties.

Clove has antibacterial, analgesic and stimulating properties that help treat colds and flu as well as headache, cough and sore throat. They are an excellent source of manganese, iron, vitamin K, dietary fiber, magnesium and calcium, and contain anti-inflammatory properties.

For preparing a cup of tea spicy lemongrass need:

● 2 Cups of water.
● 1 Tablespoon of lemon grass powder or 2 tablespoons fresh lemongrass.
● 3 Slices of fresh ginger.
● 6 Cloves.
● 3 Peppercorns.
● 6 Cardamom seeds.
● 1 Teaspoon fennel.
● A Drizzle of honey (optional).
Preparation:

Put water in a pot and add all ingredients except honey. Once it begins to boil reduce heat, put the lid on the pot and simmer for 20 minutes or until the liquid is reduced by half.

Then strain the mixture and serve in a cup.

Add a little honey if you prefer and take.
