Home Remedies That Effectively Remove Redness and Broken Capillaries

Every woman dreams of having healthy and smooth skin. Unfortunately, skin conditions such as couperosis and rosacea, both of which affect the skin on your face, especially the cheek area, can greatly affect a woman’s self-confidence.

Although similar in appearance, these two conditions stem from different underlying causes. Couperouse skin is red with broken capillaries and often feels tight and irritated. A flushed or blushing look is often a symptom of couperose skin.

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition involving inflammation of the cheeks, nose, chin, forehead or eyelids. Skin affected by rosacea can also be couperose, but with rosacea you also get an acne-like appearance of lumps and bumps.

The most common triggers for couperose skin are genes and weak connective skin tissue. Plus, there are other contributing factors including stress, UV – radiation, alcohol, strong spices, caffeine, as well as hormonal imbalances.

The most common causes for rosacea include sun exposure, stress, extreme temperatures, humidity, indoor heat, alcohol, smoking, spicy foods along with certain skin-care products and medications (specifically stimulants).

Here are some tips that will help you get rid of broken capillaries and redness on your face using efficient and proven folk remedies.

How to Cure Couperosis and Rosacea

Aloe vera
Cut an aloe leaf lengthwise and store it in the refrigerator for several days. Rub the affected skin on your face with the cut side of the leaf before going to bed, but first clean your face thoroughly with some green or black tea. If it burns a bit, don’t worry as this burning sensation usually passes after 2-3 treatments. Repeat this procedure every other day for 2 weeks.

Green tomato
Use this treatment for 10 consecutive days. Green tomato contains all the essential acids, which effectively treat cuperosis. Simply cut the tomatoes into slices and place them on your problem areas, leaving them act for about 3 minutes. Then apply some nourishing facial cream.

This efficient recipe was even used by our grandmothers. Take a handful of parsley leaves and cover them with 100ml boiling water. Cover and leave for half an hour. Then strain and add 50ml milk. Soak a small towel in the liquid then put it on your face or on troubled areas. Leave it about 20 minutes. Do the procedure every day for 20 days. Repeat if needed afterwards.

Make some healing sage milk – cover 4 tablespoons of dried sage with 200ml boiling water. Cover and let stand for ten minutes. Drain and add 200ml milk. Clean your face thoroughly with this milk. After 10 minutes, wash it with the remaining milk. Finally, rinse your face with cold water several times. You can do this treatment every day until you see improvement in your skin appearance.

Last, but not least, maintaining a healthy lifestyle is also a must. Do not poison your body with toxins, but exercise and eat healthy instead.
