It is the most accurate test for me personally. Candida will be checked in this way in your colon and lower intestines. But the most preferable test is the comprehensive stool test, not the standard one. With the stool test, levels of yeast will be directly analyzed. The species of yeast will be determined, and the effective treatment will be found by the lab.

Urine Organix Dysbiosis Test
By this test D-Arabinitol will be detected, which is a waste product of Candida yeast overgrowth. If an overgrowth of Candida is present, there will be an elevated test. The test will find out if the Candida is in your upper gut or in the small intestines.

How do you treat Candida overgrowth?
If you effectively treat Candida it means that you stop the yeast overgrowth, restore the good bacteria which keep them in check, and also heal the gut so that Candida cannot enter the bloodstream again.

If you want to achieve this, first that you should do is to practice a diet with low levels of carbohydrates. It can be very effective, but it also kills good bacteria so I don’t recommend it. Good bacteria will not be harmed by the use of anti-fungal medications and caprylic acid.

You should take probiotics on a regular basis, because you must restore the healthy bacteria which keeps your Candida population under control. The Candida levels will be reduced, and good bacteria restored if you take 25-100 billion units of probiotics. Candida will be preventing from working its way through your body if you heal your gut. You may do that by eliminating inflammatory foods which harm your GI tract and also start feeding yourself with foods that aid in digestion and nutrient absorption.
